15 January 2013: Graphene: Patent surge reveals global race
CambridgeIP Chairman, Quentin Tannock was interviewed today on the BBC News at Ten and on the BBC’s flagship radio news programme The Today Programme. Quentin discussed CambridgeIP’s analysis of the rapidly developing graphene patent landscape, which shows a surge in global patent filings from 2007 and a high level of patent activity in Asia especially South Korea and China. Nobel Prizewinner Professor Andre Geim from Manchester University was also interviewed, commenting on the potential of graphene technologies and the gap between academia and industry in Europe.
